Kosmos Innovation Center (KIC), in partnership with Rabo Foundation, has officially opened applications for the KIC-Rabo Foundation Business Booster Program, inviting high-potential agribusiness Small and Medium Enterprises (Agri-SMEs) across Ghana to apply for an intensive business growth and investment readiness programme.

The Business Booster Program is a flagship initiative designed to strengthen and scale 100 high-potential Agri-SMEs over a two-year period by equipping entrepreneurs with the knowledge, tools and networks required to build resilient, competitive and investment-ready businesses. The programme was recently launched during a stakeholder engagement that brought together representatives from government, the private sector, financial institutions, development partners and agribusiness ecosystem actors to reaffirm their commitment to strengthening Ghana’s agricultural value chains.

The programme seeks to address some of the most pressing challenges confronting Agri-SMEs, including limited access to structured business development services, weak operational systems, market access constraints and gaps in strategic and financial management. Through tailored incubation, expert mentorship, business advisory services and market linkage opportunities, participating enterprises will be supported to improve their competitiveness, strengthen governance and become investment-ready.

Applications are open to agribusinesses operating within priority agricultural value chains, including cashew, shea, soybeans, seeds, fonio, moringa, spices, cocoa processing, horticulture and oil palm. The programme particularly encourages applications from youth-led and women-led enterprises that demonstrate strong growth potential and a commitment to creating sustainable impact within Ghana’s agricultural sector.

The initiative forms part of KIC’s broader commitment to empowering entrepreneurs, strengthening agricultural enterprises and creating dignified employment opportunities for young people through innovation and enterprise development.

Interested businesses are encouraged to submit their applications before the application deadline.
