When Deborah Asiamah Boateng first stepped into the accelerator at Kosmos Innovation Center, she was a student with an idea, and a big dream.

Today, she is the CEO of Aerodry Technologies Ghana Ltd, a growing agritech company helping farmers reduce post-harvest losses and add value to their produce.

Her journey proves one powerful truth: you don’t need funding to start, you need foundation, resilience, and belief.

Turning a Problem into a Purpose

Across Ghana, farmers lose huge amounts of grains and cereals after harvest due to poor drying and storage. Deborah saw this problem and decided to be part of the solution.

Through Aerodry Technologies, her team developed innovative products like:

The Aerodry Smart Dryer, WestGold Maize Flour and Speed Up Poultry Feed

These solutions help farmers preserve their harvest, increase income, and reduce waste.

The KIC Experience That Changed Everything

Deborah’s entrepreneurial journey was shaped during her time in the KIC accelerator program. There, she gained hands-on training, mentorship, and real-world market exposure.

Although Aerodry did not receive funding at the time, Deborah refused to give up.

“The experience was invaluable. It gave us the knowledge, confidence, and direction we needed. It opened doors to other opportunities that helped us grow,” she shared.

Instead of seeing it as a rejection, she saw it as preparation. And she kept building.

Growing Beyond the Program

Today, Aerodry Technologies is steadily growing, accessing support, refining its products, and impacting farmers.

Deborah’s story is a reminder to young innovators that your journey doesn’t end with one ‘no’. Sometimes, that’s where it begins.

Her success reflects the broader impact of KIC, equipping young people with the tools and mindset to build solutions, whether they receive funding or not.

Building the Future, One Solution at a Time

Deborah is not just building a business. She is building confidence for a new generation of young agripreneurs.

A generation that understands:

You can start small.
You can face setbacks.
But you can still succeed.

And like Deborah, you can still nurture something that matters.
