KIC Start-Up Grow For Me Wins Big at Ghana FinTech Awards

The Kosmos Innovation Center (KIC) is proud to celebrate a major milestone as its start-up, Grow For Me, secured honors at the recent Ghana FinTech Awards.

Grow For Me emerged as a double winner on the night, taking home both the AgriTech of the Year and Emerging Technology of the Year awards—an achievement that underscores the company’s growing impact at the intersection of agriculture and digital innovation.

Transforming Commodity Marketing through Technology

As a micro-aggregator, Grow For Me is redefining how smallholder farmers and agribusinesses access markets. Through its digital platform and mobile application, the company connects producers to buyers, streamlining commodity aggregation, improving price transparency, and reducing inefficiencies in the agricultural value chain.

By leveraging technology, Grow For Me is addressing one of the most persistent challenges in agriculture—market access. Its platform enables farmers to reach broader markets, secure better pricing, and reduce post-harvest losses, ultimately improving incomes and livelihoods.

The recognition as AgriTech of the Year highlights the platform’s contribution to making commodity marketing more accessible, efficient, and inclusive.

Driving Innovation as an Emerging Technology Leader

In addition to its impact in agriculture, Grow For Me’s forward-thinking use of technology earned it the Emerging Technology of the Year award. This recognition reflects the company’s commitment to innovation and its ability to deploy scalable digital solutions that respond to real-world challenges.

From data-driven aggregation to digital transaction systems, Grow For Me exemplifies how emerging technologies can be harnessed to transform traditional sectors and unlock new economic opportunities.

A Testament to KIC’s Entrepreneurial Ecosystem

Grow For Me’s success is also a reflection of KIC’s broader mission to nurture high-impact, innovation-driven enterprises. Through its capacity building, mentorship, and incubation programs, KIC supports young entrepreneurs to develop solutions that are not only commercially viable but also socially impactful.

Over the years, KIC has built a strong pipeline of start-ups that are leveraging technology to address challenges in agriculture, climate resilience, and job creation. Grow For Me stands out as a shining example of what is possible when innovation is paired with the right support systems.

Inspiring the Next Generation of Innovators

This double win is more than just an achievement for one start-up—it is an inspiration for a new generation of entrepreneurs across Ghana and beyond.

As the agricultural sector continues to evolve, solutions like Grow For Me demonstrate the critical role of technology in driving efficiency, inclusivity, and growth. They also reinforce the importance of investing in youth-led innovation as a pathway to sustainable development.

The Kosmos Innovation Center congratulates Grow For Me on this remarkable accomplishment and remains committed to supporting more entrepreneurs to build impactful solutions that transform industries and create jobs.
