Transforming maternal care using agricultural waste: The FEEP Fibertech innovation

Maternal healthcare remains a critical concern in our world today. FEEP Fibertech, a KIC-funded business, provides a solution that merges sustainability with affordability. With the commitment to improving maternal health, FEEP Fibertech is transforming plantain stem fibers into eco-friendly delivery mats, providing a safer, cleaner, and more accessible birthing experience for mothers.

With the increasing demand for sustainable and cost-effective healthcare solutions, FEEP Fibertech is addressing a vital need. Traditional delivery mats can be expensive and contribute to medical waste, but by leveraging agricultural byproducts, the company is not only reducing costs but also minimizing environmental impact. This innovation ensures that maternal care is not only improved but also aligns with global sustainability goals.
